TalkSafetyNB is WorkSafeNB’s dedicated community engagement hub providing the public with the opportunity to be more involved and have their say on workplace health and safety topics that are important and relevant to them. Through the online discussion forums, surveys and other feedback tools you can quickly and easily contribute your ideas, opinions and comments on key issues and projects and help WorkSafeNB’s leadership make informed decisions. TalkSafetyNB provides a one stop shop to provide feedback, check past consultations and see what decision have been made.

Sign up to the site by clicking on the register button at the top right of the page.

• Choose a username and a password
• Provide your email address, your name, and select the area in which you live
• You will receive an email to confirm your email address

Return to the main page and click the ‘Sign In’ button 

Note: your comments will appear under your username and you can comment anonymously through a username of your choice.

Can I use this site anonymously?

Yes, you can use this website anonymously. Even when you register and post comments, your anonymity is protected because you are identified by your chosen screen name. EngagementHQ hosts this website on behalf of WorkSafeNB and will not reveal the identities of account holders to WorkSafeNB. Any communication will always come to you through the platform, so your email address is not shared.

Is my privacy protected?

Your privacy is protected, and WorkSafeNB will only use your email address to contact you with updates and to invite you to participate in consultations. Your email address will not be distributed to any third party or used for any other purpose.

All input and ideas are compiled and sent to the relevant project manager to inform the recommendation and/or decision making. Input provided online is used in collaboration with other in-person consultation activities like open houses, public meetings pop-up events, workshops and other similar activities.

Note: All comments you make through TalkSafetyNB become public records.

All interactive engagement tools are moderated 24 hours a day 7 days a week for inappropriate language, comments that disrespect other participants and for comments that are off topic. Images and emojis are also moderated. All moderation is carried out by EngagementHQ for TalkSafetyNB. Moderators do not edit or alter any comments and will only remove comments deemed to be significantly off topic, offensive or malicious, in which case they are removed from the site immediately and the person who posted the comment is advised by email.
